Business Value & Exit Readiness Calculator

Build a transparent preliminary business-value range using normalized earnings, income, market, and asset approaches, then identify the factors that may improve transferability.

Plain-language guide

What might my business be worth—and what should I strengthen before an exit?

How this estimate works

The calculator normalizes entered EBITDA, compares capitalization-of-cash-flow and five-year discounted-cash-flow indications, applies user-entered market multiples and adjusted net assets, then reconciles the approaches using visible weights. Debt, excess cash, and ownership convert enterprise value to an illustrative owner-equity range.

Important: This is an educational estimate, not individualized financial, investment, tax, legal, insurance, or business-valuation advice.

Common questions

Is this a certified business valuation?
No. It is an owner-planning estimate, not a conclusion of value, calculation engagement, appraisal, fairness opinion, tax opinion, or transaction advice.
How are earnings normalized?
The bridge adjusts reported EBITDA for owner compensation above or below market replacement cost, discretionary expenses, nonrecurring items, and an entered related-party adjustment.
Why use more than one valuation approach?
Income, market, and asset approaches answer different questions. Comparing and visibly reconciling them helps expose which assumptions drive the range instead of hiding the answer inside one multiple.
